FORMER CHIEF NURSING OFFICER COMPLETES SENIOR CLERGY TEAM AT SALISBURY CATHEDRAL
Issued Tuesday 2nd October 2012The Revd Sarah Mullally DBE was installed as the new Canon Treasurer at Salisbury Cathedral by the Bishop of Salisbury, the Right Revd Nicholas Holtam, during Evensong on Saturday 29 September at 5.30pm. The appointment sees Sarah Mullally complete the team of three full-time Residentiary Canons at the Cathedral working alongside the Dean of Salisbury, the Very Revd June Osborne.
The Very Revd June Osborne, Dean of Salisbury, said “We are blessed in having a strong staff of talented people, clergy and laity, at the Cathedral and are delighted that Sarah Mullally is joining that team. She brings with her great skills and experience, both as one time head of the nursing profession and then as rector of a busy Surrey church. She will strengthen our commitment to worship and outreach and be an exciting new colleague.”
