Actress Lee Si-young beat Lee So-yeon of North Jeolla Province by an 18-16 decision to advance to the second round of the National Amateur Boxing Championships in Ulsan on Friday.

Lee, who starred in the TV drama "Boys Over Flowers" in 2009, remains undefeated after seven fights.

She said she hopes to represent the country on the international stage if she wins the tournament.
