CN Blue′s Jung Yong Hwa, Yun Eun Hye and Lee Dong Gun Confirmed for Drama ′The Choice of the Future′
Yun Eun Hye, Lee Dong Gun and Jung Yong Hwa have been confirmed as the leads of KBS′ upcoming drama The Choice of the Future.
The drama boasts not only an all-star cast but also an all-star staff, with screenwriter Hong Jin Ah of Beethoven Virus and The King 2Hearts and producer Kwon Kye Hong of Bad Love and Detectives in Trouble pitching in.
The Choice of the Future will be a new type of time slip drama, having a woman who works as a screenwriter travel to the past to give advice to her past self. It will aim to cover the lives and love relations of producers, writers, announcers and broadcast journalists from a new viewpoint.
Yun Eun Hye will return to being a bright and lovely woman with her role of Na Mi Rae. Mi Rae used to lead a normal life as a call center agent, but one day she meets her future self and starts to realize her dream with new advice.
Lee Dong Gun will be returning to the small screen for the first time in five years since the 2008 drama Night After Night. He′s been preparing to return to acting since March 2012 when he was released from the army.
In the drama, the actor will play the role of Kim Shin, an announcer who is a bit rude yet holds strong views and values.
The drama will also be the first for Jung Yong Hwa in two years since Heartstrings. He will take up the role of Park Se Ju, the grandson of the broadcasting company′s CEO; in other words, an undercover boss. He graduated from a film school in America, and currently works as a video journalist.
The Choice of the Future will air following Good Doctor′s conclusion.
