I believe last year APAN Star Awards (part of Daejeon K-Drama Festival) was called K-Drama Star Awards - Son Hyun Joo (The Chaser) took home Daesang award.

Criteria: all dramas (both public broadcasters – KBS, SBS, MBC & cable dramas) aired between 1 November 2012 – 30 September 2013.

A total of 20 awards (including popular star award, lifetime achievement award, best performance award, best couple award, best action award, best OST award, best fashionista award, best director & scriptwriter award, etc) will be handed out at the award ceremony which will be held on 16 November 2013 – red carpet starts at 5PM KST.

   I don’t think this award will be broadcast live on any broadcasting channel though because I didn’t see it on today’s tv schedule http://search.daum.net/search?w=tot&q=TV%ED%8E%B8%EC%84%B1%ED%91%9C

   Someone said they thought TVN was going to broadcast it…But I am not finding a good link to watch TVN live…and as you said, it does not appear on their schedule…

   @patoi: thank you for the info. I’ve checked the tv schedule and found that tvN will broadcast 2013 APAN Star Awards on 21 November at 7PM KST.
