PACO IS PART OF THE PARK, TOO...   PACO cemetery was built by the Dominican priests in 1820. It was where Jose Rizal was buried by the Spaniards after his execution on the Luneta (Rizal Park).  The original grave was at the back of the Park. A plaque marks the place, and it reads: “JOSE RIZAL – Executed 30 December, 1896, interred secretly in this spot by the authorities on the same day. Remains exhumed 17 August 1912, laid beneath the monument at the Luneta.”


 

 

GUITAR DUO IN PACO PARK PRESENTS

A duo of guitarists take center stage in the Paco Park Presents, this Friday, November 29, 2013, starting 6:00 PM. Hosting this regular Friday concert at historic Paco Park in San Marcelino, Manila, is Ms. Thea Perez. The public is cordially invited.
