Tribal Map
Warli Tribe
Pray for the Varli People. These tribal people have their own language similar to Marathi. There were one of the original 345 Unreached Unengaged People but were marked engaged because of existing work among them.
Prayer Requests:
1. Ask God to provide for key connections with our missionaries and national partners with Varali.
2. For key leaders to be trained to reach their fellow tribes
3. For Varali Tribals to become followers of Christ.
Kokna Tribe
Katkari Tribe
KATKARI / KATHODI (ST) Also known as Kathodi or Kathodia, they are concentrated in the Raigad and Thane districts of Maharashtra, and are mainly settled along the foothills of the Sahayadri range. According to Enthoven (1920), the name Katkari is derived from the Marathi term kat or kath meaning juice of the khair (acacia catechu) tree. They were supposed to have made katin the past; but at present none of them has any knowledge about it. The Katkari also inhabit Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. The Katkari are grouped with the Kathodi along with other subgroups in the list of the scheduled tribes in Maharashtra. According to the 1981 census, the population of the Katkari and Kathodi including all other subgroups notified together is 174,602. They speak Marathi among themselves.

Great stats. It will be more helpful if you also add up according to 2011 census.
Why not mentioned about the Tokare koli lives in majority in Dhule district, what is the reason behind this, why not mentioned in district wise. Is this a political pressure of the survey?????? what a joke!!!1!!!!!
The Koli Dhor are also referred to as Tokare Koli or Kolcha or Kolgha. They inhabit the hilly tracts of the Thane and Nasik districts. They are predominately Marathi speakers.
