Super Bowl XXX took place on January 28, 1996, in Tempe , Arizona at Sun Devil Stadium. This was the thirtieth championship game of the National Football League. Super Bowl XXX had the National Football Conference (NFC) Champion Dallas Cowboys against the American Football Conference (AFC) Pittsburgh Steelers.

In Super Bowl XXX, Dallas (15-4) beat Pittsburgh (13-6), 27-10. After the Super Bowl XXX win, Dallas tied the San Francisco 49ers for the most Super Bowl wins (5) and became the first to win three Super Bowls in four years. Super Bowl XXX was the third meeting between the Cowboys and the Steelers (after Super Bowl X and Super Bowl XIII). Dallas cornerback Larry Brown was named Super Bowl XXX MVP, and was the first one to be named Super Bowl MVP at that position. Brown had two interceptions, returning them for a combined 77 yards. The Cowboys turned those interceptions into two touchdowns.
