Two more episodes will be added to Lee Jong-suk’s smash hit SBS drama “I Can Hear Your Voice,” the broadcaster said on Wednesday.
SBS said through a press release that the additional episodes were needed because the story needs more time to unfold its story on the case revolving around Min Joon-kuk and the love story between Su-ha and Hye-sung.
The series, starring Lee Jong-suk and Lee Bo-young, has been popular since its premiere on June 6 and has been the most-watched Wednesday and Thursday prime time show for five consecutive weeks.
With the extension of “Voice,” follow-up drama “Sun of the Lord” (translated title), starring actress Kong Hyo-jin, actor So Ji-sub, and singer-actor Seo In-guk, will premiere on August 7.
The new show will be written by star sister writers Hong Mi-ran and Hong Jung-eun of SBS’s “You’re Beautiful” and MBC’s “The Greatest Love” and directed by director Jin-hyuk of SBS’s “City Hunter” and “Brilliant Legacy.”
