Korean actor Park Si-hoo will resume activities by starring in Chinese movie and opening a photo exhibition in Osaka.
Park has been cast in Chinese authentic melodrama film, tentatively titled “Perfume,” directed by Hong Kong filmmaker Jessey Tsang Tsui-Shan of “Big Blue Lake,” the actor’s agency Hoo Factory said on Monday.
Co-starring rising Chinese actress Chen Ran, Park will take on Korean interior designer named Kang In-joon. He is soon to fly to Shanghai to begin the filming.
The “Cheongdam-dong Alice” star is also set to hold photo exhibition, dubbed “THE MAN WHO WAS THERE,” at the Drapeau Exhibition Space in Osaka Minamisenba, Japan from January 11 to 13 next year.
The second exhibition after the Tokyo one held in November will also exhibit Park’s script book and collection of SBS drama “Cheongdam-dong Alice” and KBS’s period-set series “Princess’s Man.”
The actor had gained favorable reputation through the two dramas but shocked the nation when it was reported in February that a would-be actress had accused him of rape.
However, the accuser suddenly submitted a form dropping all charges against Park this May yet he has stayed out of Korean public sight since.
