Block B just released “Welcome to the Block”, but the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF) and KBS have already placed bans on the songs from the album. The group’s leader, Zico shared his thoughts on it.
If you’re not familiar with the situation, MOGEF banned several songs from the group’s debut album and MOGEF, as well as KBS, have banned “LOL” and “Did You or Did You Not” from “Welcome to the Block”.
During the Q&A at the group’s showcase, Zico talked about this issue: “It’s not that we don’t consider the regulations when we’re producing the songs, but I did often think that our freedom of expression was being interrupted. Still, I do acknowledge that as a producer that creates songs meant for the public, it was a shortcoming of mine to not have paid more attention to the regulations.”
Zico went on to say, “There still is that feeling of disappointment, but I’m not going to remain stubborn blindly. I’ll still try to protect Block B’s color, it’s just that since our music is meant for the public, I will try to consider aspects of their tastes.”
Man. MOGEF and KBS already banned 2 songs. That really sucks.

WTH are they banning songs!! sorry but I think it s just stupid!
So If they banned the song it means That people won’t listen to it anymore?! of course not!!They will just get eager and want to listen to it to know why it was banned!

lol but even though their songs were banned, at least zico’s acknowledging it. i’m sure they’ll pay more attention to those annoying regulations in the future. [:

This is the weirdest ban ever!! Especially the did yo or did you not, they actually say it will make people think of sex! They are the ones with the dirty minds freaking people!!! I don’t understand their banning system, just because they feel like they should ban it they just go ahead and ban it..

Oh, there goes another banned song...I wonder why the songs had been banned...don’t understand MOGEF at all.
