The casting boat for “Kang Chi, the Beginning” star Choi Jin-hyuk’s upcoming film has been filled with top-class movie stars.
Actress Lee Si-young has confirmed her role in upcoming action noir “Divine Move” (translated title), set to crank in later this month, the pic’s promoter HoHoHo Beach said in a press release Wednesday.
Her character, nicknamed as a belly button, is a former Korean chess player with great beauty and virtue together on the same side with Lee Bum-soo’s character Sal-soo.
The action film will center around a professional Korean chess player who makes a comeback for revenge to fraud players after hitting rock bottom.
Co-starring Choi, Lee and top movie actors Jung Woo-sung, Kim In-kwon and Ahn Seong-gi, the novel-turned-film is set to hit the Korean theaters in the first half of next year.
