About Us

Who We Are

The Bavarian Soccer Club competes in the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association, US Youth Soccer Association Midwest Regional League, US Club Soccer Midwest Development League, National Premier Soccer League and Wisconsin Adult Soccer League. The Bavarian Soccer Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

The purpose of the Bavarian Soccer Club is to provide, in a non-profit setting, a premier-level soccer experience through the application of Bavarian Soccer Club-specific training and player development program, built upon the US Soccer Federation guidelines. Further, it aims to perpetuate the unique history of the game and its German cultural heritage through non-soccer events such as Oktoberfest and the spring Bock Bier Festival held on its complex.

History and Mission

Founded in Milwaukee in 1929, the Bavarian Soccer Club is one of the country’s oldest soccer clubs. It serves boys and girls with development programs for players ages 4 all the way through college and to adult competitive and recreational soccer. Youth teams from the Bavarian Soccer Club have won numerous State and Regional Championships. The Club’s adult teams have won six National Championships in both Amateur and Open Cup play, a record for Wisconsin-based clubs. The Bavarian Soccer Club has produced hundreds of coaches who have gone on to teach the game in community based programs throughout the United States, NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Major League Soccer, international leagues, as well at the US Soccer National Team level with Coach, Bob Gansler.
The mission of the Bavarian Soccer Club is to serve its community by creating an environment in which a life-long appreciation for soccer exists and the health, well-being and social benefits of the game can thrive. The Bavarian Soccer Club develops men and women through the game of soccer, connecting boys and girls from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, imparting life lessons and fostering cross-generational relationships. The Bavarian Soccer Club strives to build a foundation for soccer excellence at a young age, enabling its players to continue to build along the development pathway to the highest level of soccer competition.
