Cervical cancer statistics

Cervical Stats Doughnut

  • 3,064 women in the UK were diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2011.
  • There were 919 deaths from cervical cancer in the UK in 2012.
  • 66.6% of adult cervical cancer patients in England survived their cancer for five years or more in 2005-2009.

Survival statistics give an overall picture of survival and (unless otherwise stated) include all adults (15-99) diagnosed, at all ages, stages and co-morbidities.
