EXID Debuts New Unit, Dasoni

EXID will be launching a new two-member unit to follow the footsteps of SISTAR19 and 2Yoon.

Sol Ji and Hani, the vocalists of the group, will release at noon on February 15 (KST) a new single with the title Goodbye under the unit name Dasoni. The song is a collaboration between Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Gyu Sung, a team that has previously released such hits as T-ara′s Roly Poly and B2ST′s Fiction.

The lyrics speak of the sorrow surrounding memories of a lost love, and the song showcases the two members′ powerful vocals.

Said So Often is another new track that will be included in the album, written by Shinsadong Tiger and Rado, the men behind the smash hit Trouble Maker. The piece has the vocalists sing on a simple piano accompaniment, and has lyrics that every woman will relate to. The lyrics were written by lyricist Kim Hee Tam, who lyricized Solid′s Holding Onto the End of This Night and Seo Ji Won′s Gathering My Tears.

Dasoni means in pure Korean ′a loved one′. The unit plans to showcase songs centered on love themes in a variety of genres.
