Bengali's of Pakistan (Karachi)

The plight of Bengali's living in Karachi, Pakistan, 16/10/2009. There is a saying that “those who are alone, for them ALLAH is always there” USMAN TOWN BANGALI PARA (BANGALI AREA) is the town where Bengali's have been living for the last 45 years and they are living in Pakistan from the Partition of India and Pakistan. These Bengali's are facing lots of problems and living in tension. Some time NARA (NATIONAL ALEINS REGULARITY AUTHORITY) teases them and some time POLICE jailed them because they don’t have proper documentation and prove that they are legal Pakistani citizen. When they contact with NARA ( NATIONAL ALEINS REGULARITY AUTHORITY) for applying of their ID cards as Pakistani citizens, concern dept made lots of obligation which these poor and innocent people unable to fulfill and then concern employees of NARA who are responsible to give them proper services ask them for ransom and threat them. I visited this Poorest area of Karachi to know that what kind of problems these innocent Bengali's are facing from the NARA but when I saw they just don’t have the NARA problem they have problems more then that. I was shocked. I was shocked to saw that how life behaving with these innocent people and deglutition and spiting them out. This area where 75000/= bangalies are living don’t even have proper facility of water, electricity, school, roads and morgues. In spite of all these problem the counselor of this area Molana Mohammad rafique Al Hussaini have a conation to build this area better and he is no doubt doing out standing and more then power he have. During communication Rafique told me that being a Town Nazim he fixed the problem of sewerage and approved 6 basic roads for the area the road works are under progress, Rafique also told me that the Water and electricity is the main problem of this area, the facility of hospital is not available, no secondary school for boys and girls, no ambulances available, there is not proper maternity home, they only have one primary School for boys which is run by the locals cooperation. The business of drugs on its climax, area in need of 10 sweepers but CDGK provides them just 4 sweeper and they had never seen after appointment. There is no facilty of zakat and bait ul maal here in the area.” He appeals to higher officers of government official that please consider these bangalies problem and their area problems. He also appeal from the different local and international NGOs and United Nation that please take action and help them build better colony for them.
