Jun Jin Released from Public Service
Shinhwa member Jun Jin returned to his fans on November 14 after being released from his public service.
Jun Jin held an event celebrating his release on November 14 at the Gangnam Management Corporation where he served. He emerged wearing a black beanie, jeans and a jacket, and saluted to the 100+ fans shouting out his name.
His fans welcomed him with placards reading ‘Welcome back’ and ‘Congratulations on your release’. Jun Jin said, “I thank everyone who’s here. Unlike the other public service officers, I worked at parking lots and culture centers, and experienced many things. I learned a lot.”
Jun Jin received four weeks of basic military training after entering the Nonsan Army Training camp on October 2009, and served as a public service officer at the Management Corporation for the remainder of his term. Jun Jin did work such as managing the culture center’s fitness club and parking lot.
Jun Jin will be appearing in front of his fans from November 26 by performing at his agency’s family concert in Japan, the 1st Open World Festival Tokyo. Lee Min Woo became the only Shinhwa member who still has military duties to fulfill with Jun Jin’s release. Lee, who is serving as an officer at the Korean Railroad Corporation, will be released in February 2012.
The Shinhwa members will be resuming their Shinhwa activities upon Lee Min Woo’s release.
