Grimsby cueman Carrington qualifies for World Championships

|GRIMSBY snooker player Stuart Carrington has qualified for the final stages of the 2015 World Snooker Championships.
The 24-year-old cueman beat Chinese opponent Li Hang 10-9 in a tense thriller tonight.
It means Carrington will be one of 32 players who will compete in the televised stages of the sport's biggest competition, which starts on Saturday at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. He had to make his way through three qualifying rounds to make the cut.

It is the first time Carrington has made it to the Crucible. He will now eagerly await the draw for the first round to find out who he faces.
