Kim Soo Hyun Wins Best Actor in Asia at ′Tokyo Drama Awards′

Kim Soo Hyun has risen to become the Best Actor in Asia.

The drama, You Who Came From the Stars has been acknowledged for its content power overseas.

On October 23, You Who Came From the Stars received the honor of the Best Overseas Production at the Tokyo Drama Awards 2014 in Tokyo.

The Tokyo Drama Awards is a TV drama-focused festival, and HB Entertainment′s CEO, Moon Bo Mi was present at the award ceremony to accept the award.

Also at this ceremony, Kim Soo Hyun who acted in You Who Came From the Stars received the Best Actor in Asia award. You Who Came From the Stars received two awards at the Tokyo Drama Awards 2014, being acknowledged as a loved content in all of Asia.

You Who Came From the Stars also received the Excellent Korean Drama Award at the 2014 Seoul International Drama Awards.

According to affiliates in Japan, You Who Came From the Stars was number one in online DVD pre-orders as well as a production that was the topic of much discussion in Japan.

The drama recorded an average rating of 24.0 percent and highest ratings of 28.1 percent in Korea, becoming a hit drama in the first half of 2014.

The story about the alien who fell on earth 400 yaers ago and top actress received a lot of love from overseas, being praised as the production that opened doors to ′hallyu 3.0.′

The drama was even recently chosen to be remade in US through ABC.
