[Exclusive] B1A4 Jin Young to Act in ′Warm and Cozy′ with Yoo Yeon Seok and Kang Sora

Following Sing Again, Hera Gu, B1A4′s Jin Young will be joining MBC′s new drama, Warm and Cozy. He will be acting alongside Yoo Yeon Seok and Kang Sora.

One broadcast affiliate told enews on April 2, "Jin Young′s follow up project has been decided."

"He will be acting in the Hong Sisters′ Warm and Cozy, making his debut in a terrestrial broadcast drama."

Regarding this, WM Entertainment explained, "He recently received news that he passed the audition."

Jin Young will play the character, Jung Poong San, a restaurant employee, and will act closely with Yoo Yeon Seok (Baek Geon Woo). After going to pharmacy school, Jin Young′s character decides that it doesn′t fit with him. He decides to go on a trip around the world and somehow ends up working at a restaurant through Baek Geon Woo.

This will be Jin Young′s first terrestrial broadcast drama since his debut. It is also even more meaningful that Jin Young will be joining this drama after passing the auditions.

Although he′s received many love calls due to his good acting as seen in the movie Miss Granny and Mnet′s Sing Again, Hera Gu, Jin Young chose to audition for the project he wanted. His decision to audition showed his ambition to grow as an actor, rather than depending on his idol title.

The audition for the Hong Sisters′ upcoming project was fierce, but Jin Young passed the test with his acknowledged acting skills. Jin Young will begin filming the drama at the end of April. He will also be participating in the script reading with the other actors beforehand.

Warm and Cozy is written by the Hong Sisters and takes place in Jejudo. It will air in May following Angry Mom.
