Director of Research & Development at Eyebeam from June 2001 - June 2006

Jonah led Eyebeam R&D starting in June 2001 and launched the Eyebeam OpenLab in 2005. He is a graduate of the MIT Media Lab, and has taught at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications program and Parsons School of Design. Jonah speaks regularly on contagious media, technology, activism, and art and has advised leading technology and media companies. His contagious media experiments (the Nike Sweatshop Email, the Rejection Line, Black People Love Us) illustrate the practical application of concepts like emergence, 6-degrees of separation, and tipping points. His work has been exhibited at the New Museum and Exit Art and been covered by the New York Times, the Washington Post, Time, and Newsweek. Jonah has been a guest on the Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN, NPR and the BBC.

Jonah left Eyebeam in June 2006 to establish Buzzfeed. He is also a co-founder of the Huffington Post.
