RUC officers who lost their lives during the Troubles are to be included in the national police memorial in the centre of London, it was revealed today.The names of the officers are to be engraved alongside their GB counterparts on a stone memorial, funded through a charity set up by movie director Michael Winner.East Belfast DUP MLARobin Newton said he had received a 'short handwritten note' from Winner, confirming RUC officers will be listed.Mr Newton said: "I recognise that The Ulster Ash Grove in Staffordshire includes the RUC, prison officers and other members of the armed forces killed in Northern Ireland. …
