Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani was born 11 July 1934. In his youth he worked as a window dresser and a seller at the menswear department. In the '60s he began designing menswear for different fashion houses. In 1975 he founded his own label. Soon the label became recognized and popular, and several lines were introduced: the Main line of menswear and womenswear, Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans, Armani Junior, Accessories, Swimwear. Giorgio also designed costumes for many movies. The brand has boutiques and stores in many countries. Armani was the first to broadcast a collection on the Internet in 2007.
