We are delighted to confirm that the proposed merger between The Dearne ALC Athletics Club and ourselves has now been officially ratified.

The merged club will now be known as City of Sheffield and Dearne AC.

This merger will see all Dearne members become first-claim members of our club, thereby removing the issue of second-claim representation that affected some Dearne athletes in some competitions.

We would like to welcome Trevor Fox (world class Pole Vault coach) and his athletes (world class Pole Vaulters) to the club and wish them all well for the future.
