Professional rugby team to begin play in Obetz in April

Ohio has been awarded a franchise in a startup professional rugby league that begins its season in April. The team in PRO Rugby (Professional Rugby Organization) will play its matches at Memorial Park in Obetz.

PRO Rugby will include five teams of 30 players each. Four of the five teams have been announced -- Ohio as well as three California teams, San Diego, San Francisco and Sacramento.

The 12-game season begins for Ohio on April 10.
