“In this world, we’re all so caught up in our own heads it’s easy to lose sight of what’s real.” Here is the first trailer for Season 3 of Black Mirror, Netflix’s original drama starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve, James Norton and Cherry Jones. The six new stories from writer-creator Charlie Brooker start streaming October 21.

The series taps into our collective unease with the modern world, and each stand-alone episode explores themes of contemporary techno-paranoia. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm — a plasma screen; a monitor; a smartphone – a Black Mirror reflecting our 21st century existence back at us.

The third season cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve, James Norton, Cherry Jones,  Wyatt Russell, Alex Lawther, Jerome Flynn, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mackenzie Davis, Michael Kelly, Malachi Kirby, Kelly McDonald and Faye Marsay. Annabel Jones serves as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Brooker.

Episode 1 of the new season will screen Saturday at New York Comic-Con. Meanwhile, take a look at the trailer above and tell us what you think.
