Jang Keun Suk Gathers 115,000 Fans Across Seven Cities in Asia Tour

The Prince of Asia has done it again.

From July 7 with a concert in Seoul, Jang Keun Suk has been touring Asia in his Asia Tour, the 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour The Cri Show 2. He has been through Yokohama in Japan, Shanghai in China, Taipei in Taiwan and Osaka and Nagoya in Japan so far.

He most recently took another step in his seven city tour with a series of concerts from October 6-7 in Fukuoka, Japan.

The actor/singer currently has a total of four concerts left in two cities, Shenzhen in China and Saitama in Japan. He has gathered about 115,000 people to his concerts, rewriting record after record.

He sold out two 10,000 seat concerts in Fukuoka, on a much larger scale than the 3,000 seat concert he held two years ago in the same city. He showed off his fluent Japanese and even his Fukuoka dialect, and promoted the Busan International Film Festival currently being held in Busan.

He showed care not only for his fans, but also for his staff, as for his 200 staff members from both Korea and Japan, he installed a night market food stall, a popular characteristic of Fukuoka, and held a party there for his hard working staff. Staff from both countries were touched at how he thanked every single member individually.

Jang Keun Suk has been performing live in concerts that last about two and a half hours each. He shows off an array of charms, from sexy to cute and charismatic, and leads his show with his witty remarks.

The actor has managed to come closer to his fans by making them bounce to the music with his energy at one point, but then calming down and opening up honestly about his feelings in others. He participated in video and stage design, and even thought up unique events for each concert, differentiating every show from the last.

Jang Keun Suk said, "Last year and this year feels so different. I perform under the brand name The Cri Show, but my concerts have all been different. I always try to think up new ideas in order to liven up those points my fans and I can both enjoy together, and I′ve been putting everything together myself. If my last tour was a new challenge, this year′s tour let me see new possibilities."

He also added, "I feel more responsibility as the concerts′ scales grow bigger, but I′ve been working hard thanks to the support of my staff and my fans. In life, you shouldn′t always stare upwards, but walk forward, and sometimes look back. With that thought, I′ve been trying to get through everything slowly yet passionately. Taking it step by step has brought me many companions on my way. I want to thank those companions."

"I already have only four concerts left in my Asia tour," he finished. "I′ll work hard for a successful end, so please keep your eyes on me and I hope for your support."

The Shenzhen concert for Jang Keun Suk′s 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour The Cri Show 2 will take place on November 27.
