TVXQ Changmin made a surprise appearance in the SBS Monday Tuesday drama "ATHENA". His name is up on the brilliant cameo list along with Choo Sung-hoon, Lee Bo-young and BoA.
On the 16th episode of "ATHENA" (written by Kim Hyeon-joon, Yoo Nam-kyeong, produced by Kim Yeong-joon, Kim Tae-hoon-II, Hwang Jeong-hyeon) on the 7th, Changmin appeared as an explosives specialist.
Son Hyeok (Cha Seung-won) planned to kidnap Yoon Hye-in (Soo Ae) who betrayed the gang. Andy (Sean Richard) fooled he was going to surrender and entered NTS. Andy threatened the NTS agents with an explosive vest.
Andy kidnapped Yoo Hye-in and put explosive vest on Han Jae-hee (Lee Ji-ah). Even after Andy and the ATHENA agents left NTS headquarters Han Jae-hee who was wearing the vest made everyone tense.
The National Intelligence Service explosives specialist Choi Tae-hyeon (Changmin) was brought to the scene on NTS' emergency call. Kim Joon-ho, (Choi Si-won) joined the Intelligence Service at the same time. Choi Tae-hyeon succeeded disarming the explosive vest.
Meanwhile, Choo Sung-hoon re-appeared as a black agent and died after rescuing Lee Jeong-woo (Jung Woo-sung), adding to the tension of the drama.
