“It is worthy to note that your organization have chosen to encourage the creation of music through a songwriting competition, an exciting event especially in the advent of the yuletide season. May this music festival encourage you to use your music to unify our people and to inspire them to serve our fellow Filipinos, especially those in the margins,” ayon kay Vice President Robredo.
“I commend the organizers of this search for the best and brightest songwriters and lyricists in our country, as it helps enrich our musical traditions. The infusion of new talent will push the boundaries of the art form, and also contribute a greater awareness among our people of the richness of our continously evolving culture. Through music, we entertain while expressing the sentiments of our people,” ani Sen. Pimentel.
“On behalf of the House of Representatives, I commend Bombo Radyo for organizing an event that nurtures creativity in songwriting.
“The event celebrates the musicality of our people, inspired by the beauty of our islands, our rich cultural heritage, and the Filipino’s genuine hospitality and passion for life.
