[K-pop] T-ara’s Jiyeon and Soyeon Preparing for a Musical

T-ara’s Jiyeon and Soyeon are, as T-ara members tend to be, busy busy, as they are now preparing for a musical titled Roly Poly-Our Youth.Jiyeon and Soyeon will be performing from January 13 in Seongnam.



In the photos released by Core Contents Media on December 29, Jiyeon and Soyeon are shown practicing with their fellow cast members and staff. Although the photos were probably taken without much of a set up, Jiyeon and Soyeon shine through with their natural poses and beauty.Roly Poly is, as implied by the title, a musical based on T-ara’s hit single Roly Poly, and is to be Korea’s first pop musical centered on popular pieces of the 80s. The musical is expected to soar high on the retro boom started by Roly Poly and the film Sunny this year.



A rep for Core Contents Media told enews on December 29, “The musical Roly Poly is a moving musical that mixes fun disco pop and ballads together with memories from the past. Jiyeon and Soyeon are trying to perfect even the smallest details they’ll be performing onstage, so you can look forward to it.”Before the musical’s first performance, the cast, including Jiyeon, Soyeon, Park Hae Mi and Jang Hye Jin, will hold a press conference in Seoul on January 4.
