Georgiou Joins 147 Club

Michael Georgiou made the first maximum break of his career at the Paul Hunter Classic on Friday.

His perfect break came in the second frame of his first round match against Umut Dikme at the world ranking event in Furth, Germany.

Shoot Out champion Georgiou will earn a £20,000 bonus from the rolling pot for 147s as long as his break isn’t equalled over the weekend.

It’s the first 147 of the season and 140th in snooker history.
