ZEC’s Nomination Officer Japhet Murenje

By Talent Gondo| The Nomination Court has today (Thursday) approved the candidature of 23 presidential candidates for Zimbabwe’s July 30 harmonised elections.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) nomination officer, Japhet Mufaro Murenje announced that the 23 successfully filed their papers for nomination at the High Court in Harare.

Their names are as follows: (in no particular order).

1. Nelson Chamisa -MDC Alliance

2.Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa-Zanu PF

3. Peter Gava- United Democratic Front
4. Hlabangana Kwanele- Republicans
5.Divine Mhambi- National Alliance of Patriotic and Democratic Republicans
6. Blessing Kasiyamhuru- Zimbabwe Partnership for Prosperity

7. Thokozani Khupe- MDC T
8.Lovemore Madhuku – National Constitutional Assembly
9.Noah Manyika- Build Zimbabwe Alliance
10.Violet Mariyacha- United Democracy Movement
11. Brian Mteki- Independent

12. William Mugadza- Bethel Christian Party
13.Joice Mujuru – People’s Rainbow Coalition
14. Nkosana Moyo- Alliance for People’s Agenda

15. Evaristo Chikanga – Rebuilding Zimbabwe Party
16. Makamba Busha- FreeZim Congress
17. Johannes Chiguvare- People’s Progressive Party
