Kang Ho-dong scores grand prize at SBS Entertainment Awards
Korean entertainer Kang Ho-dong scored the grand prize at the year-end SBS Entertainment Awards, held at SBS’ Open Hall on Thursday.
Kang was given the top honor for his role as the emcee for popular SBS variety shows “Steel Heart” and “Star King,” making it his fifth grand prize win during a year-end show.
Lee Seung-gi, Kang’s co-host in “Steel Heart,” received two awards last night, taking home the first prize (male) under the category for best MC as well as the winning the people’s choice MC.
The ceremony included performances by Jung Ju-ri, Nancy Lang and ZE:A member Kwang-hee who danced to Girls’ Generation’s “Hoot” as well as joint performances from IU, Kara’s Nicole, After School’s Kahi, Shin Bong-seon and Jung Ga-eun.
