After taking the first frame of the final the 18-year-old Wilson slipped to a 3-1 deficit against opponent Liam Highfield, and it seemed that Highfield was on track to win his second PIOS event of the season.
But Wilson then won the fifth frame by a single point to stop the rot, then levelled the match at 3-3 in the next frame.
Top-ranked PIOS player Highfield took the lead once more to put himself two frames from victory, but Wilson rattled off three frames in a row to clinch the match.
