About the Author

Tom Sykes is a writer of fiction and articles for magazines and anthologies in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Southeast Asia. His `Ringroad to Immolation' was named one of the best online short stories of 2004 by StorySouth.com. He has co-compiled and edited three travel books and is a regular columnist for the arts magazine Quill which has a circulation of 20,000 across Malaysia and Singapore. His novel `The Blank Space' will be published by Pendragon in 2010.

Simon Sykes is an author, linguist, carpenter and musician who has lived and worked all over Europe. He was, for a time, a cultural integration specialist with the Lagardère Groupe. He is the co-compiler and editor, with Tom Sykes, of the travel books, `No Such Thing as a Free Ride?', (UK and North American Editions), and `The Hitchers of Oz'.

Both the authors are part of omnimoda.com, the international Creative Bureau of artists, writers, filmmakers, musicians and designers.
