To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Not what is hoped for. The idea that the instructions include: "remove lid periodically, to allow oxygen in. . ." is ludicrous. I expected an air tube and pump to be included.
In order for the fish to breathe, I just removed the little screw on the top of the lid, wish it was wider but haven't lost a fish yet. Me and my teacher friend both have one in our classes. The children love them! I just wish it was possible to purchase the class part separately, just in case of an accident.
I purchased this thinking it was such a cute idea which it was until I saw the fake gumballs floating, and the size was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. (they never said how much water it held) (bowl holds about 31 fl oz/916.7 mL). Also to put it together was very easy but not secure (the top to the bowl is a little wobbly and same with the bottom. It seems as if the bowl doesn't fit right with the whole thing.
. -When I first recieved the package however it was broken- the bowl was cracked and there was no fragile sign on the package it came in. (not a box). Michael who sells this product however did send me a brand new one free of charge and was very nice about it.
I am still going to use it because it's cute and I'll see how my betta likes it. (Trial and error).
