    HOW TO WATCH

The Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona is free to watch on land, water and screen. On race days, races start at 2:00pm (14:00 CEST) and run until 4:30pm or 5:00pm, depending on the race schedule.

  • RACE VILLAGE

The America's Cup Race Village along Moll de la Fusta opens at 12:00pm* and closes between 8:00pm–11:00pm*, depending on the day and scheduled activities.  Access is FREE, so no tickets apply, but there is a capacity control system in place to prevent overcrowding. The Race Village is where you will find the main stage and giant viewing screens, which feature the daily show with professional hosts on the main stage, along with a range of activations and exhibits, as well as food and entertainment offerings. There is no direct view of the water from this space, but the jumbo-sized viewing screens allow spectators to stay in the middle of the action.

  • FANZONES

The America's Cup Fanzones are in Plaça del Mar and Port Olímpic. They allow a direct view of the race area and on-water action. The giant screens, which go live when the Race Village stage show starts, allow you to view all the action once the race day begins. Fanzones are ‘free access’, as well so no tickets apply. Opening times for exhibits, food and entertainment offerings are 12:00–8:00pm*. The Plaça del Mar Fanzone overlooks the race area, so it is a great vantage point. The Port Olímpic Fanzone, which overlooks the UniCredit Youth and Puig Women's team's bases, is at the northern end of the race area, so it is great to view the start and action around the turning marks at that end.

  • VIEWING AREAS

There are a lot of options to follow the action, maybe watch from different places on different days to give a varied experience. Plaça de la Rosa dels Vents offers great views of the teams when they are going in and out of the port before and after racing. The beaches of St. Miguel, Barceloneta, and Somorrostro, with their fine, golden sand and shallow waters are also good vantage points to watch when the racing is on: Just be sure to have your mobile fully charged to follow the races LIVE. Racing is streamed lived and available free to watch on YouTube, Facebook and the official America's Cup website.

  • AC TEAMS BASES

The six America’s Cup team bases are located around Port Vell: Emirates Team New Zealand is at the corner of Moll de les Drassanes, which leads to the World Trade Center. INEOS Britannia and Alinghi Red Bull Racing are next to the Aquarium, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli and American Magic bases are on the southern side of the port towards W Hotel, whereas Orient Express Racing Team is on the Moll de Ponent. Generally, access to the team bases is not permitted, but this is a matter for each team to advise. You can still get very close and watch all the action as the teams dock in and out each day.

  • PORT OLÍMPIC

Port Olímpic is where you can experience the buzz of the UniCredit Youth & Puig Women’s America’s Cup. The re-developed Port Olímpic allows spectators to get up close to the AC40 racing yachts and engage with the athletes. The Port Olímpic Fanzone, which overlooks the UniCredit Youth and Puig Women's team's bases, is open from 12:00–8:00pm* and it’s ‘free access’, so no tickets apply. The giant screen goes live when the Race Village stage show starts, allowing to view all the action once the race day begins. Being at the northern end of the race area, it is also great to view the start and action around the turning marks at that end.

  • HOSPITALITY/VIP EXPERIENCE

The Official America’s Cup Hospitality Programme (called House of AC37) is situated just in front of the Port Olímpic Fanzone on Moll de la Marina (in front of the Arts Hotel). Hospitality packages for individual days or stages of the competition will go on general sale in April and will offer a variety of options to suit all tastes. This facility will house giant screens, expert commentators and an incredible hospitality experience featuring local gastronomy and bars. It is planned that this space will be open as a public restaurant and bar area during the evenings. Details to follow.
