BTS ARMY, rejoice! The K-pop giants have set a release date for their new album — and now we know the name of the lead single, too.
The seven-member group will release BE (Deluxe Edition), the follow-up to 2020’s Map of the Soul: 7, on Nov. 20, per a tweet from Big Hit Entertainment. Pre-orders began on Monday, Sept. 28.
On Friday (Oct. 30), BTS then revealed that the album’s lead single will be titled “Life Goes On.”
“The new album delivers a message of healing to the world by declaring, ‘Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on,'” a release promises.
The album also “reflects the thoughts, emotions and deepest ruminations of BTS, who have been actively involved in all aspects of the creative process for this record.”
Additionally, BTS will debut “Life Goes On” at the 2020 American Music Awards on Nov. 22.
BTS recently made history with “Dynamite,” its first-ever English-language track. In September, the song became their career-first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The track’s official music video also broke the YouTube record for the biggest first-day debut with 101.1 million views within 24 hours of its release.
