BTS’ ‘Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2’ Returns to No. 1 on World Albums

BTS manages an unprecedented feat by earning a second week atop Billboard's World Albums chart.

Making a strong case as the K-pop act to watch in America, BTS manage an unprecedented feat as their latest album earns a second week atop Billboard‘s World Albums chart.

In its sixth week, the boy band’s The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2 zooms from No. 6 to No. 1 on the chart for its second, non-consecutive week atop the ranking. While many Korean acts have topped World Albums in the last few years, BTS is the first K-pop act to have the same album spend more than one week on top.

The feat is also notable after Pt. 2 bowed on the Billboard 200 when it dropped in December, the first appearance for a K-pop act that isn’t under SM or YG Entertainment — Korea’s two biggest record labels.
