Ever wondered what makes Coventry folk different to everyone else? Well now there’s a tool that can tell you!

Internet market research firm YouGov has an online profiling tool which allows you to see what makes people from different areas... well, different!

According to the site, some of the things that separate Coventrians from everyone else include our love of lamb kleftiko, Ben Sherman clothing, birds and James Bond movies.

The results, taken from a sample of 223, paint an interesting picture and suggest we are most likely to work in education, be politically left wing, drive a Mazda, shop in Sainsbury’s and spend our spare time logging onto the Vision Express website.

We also enjoy flicking through a copy of the Guardian or watching television show QI.

Some of the top hobbies in the city appear to be writing, playing sport and singing.

If not singing, we appear to be listening - to the likes of Billy Bragg, Joan Baez and UB40.

YouGov also tells us that common interests are likely to include Birmingham, Warwickshire, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Sky Blues.

And speaking of Coventry City FC, there’s also the opportunity to analyse the uniqueness of the average Sky Blues fan - a group which is apparently more right wing than the general Coventry population, but also likely to work in education.

They also have a taste for chocolate tarts, an interest in sex and relationships and wear Berghaus clothing - presumably during their regular trips to the Co-operative, probably to pick up a copy of Esquire magazine.

When not watching sport, it appears Coventry City fans enjoy a spot of gardening, playing board games or catching up on the latest X-Factor results.

Interestingly, Coventry City supporters also seem to have a taste for the music of Leicester City fans Kasabian.

Meanwhile, in Warwickshire, there seems to be a great deal of far-right political thinking.

Potatoes dauphinois appears to be the ideal choice of cuisine while there is an apparent interest in news, Paul O’Grady and Elton John.

Warwickshire folk are also most likely to drive a BMW, have a cat as a pet, shop at Sainsbury’s and wear Ralph Lauren.
