What is the longest, continuously running street in Columbus and how long is it?

— Lucas Gualtieri, of Columbus

The longest street within the city limits of Columbus is the one you might expect: It's High Street, which runs north-south. It stretches 13.5 miles from its southern end, just north of I-270 on the south side of the county, to Cemetery Drive in Worthington.

Bernice Cage, spokeswoman for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), added that High Street runs 23.4 miles across Franklin County (extending beyond Columbus' limits). Broad Street, which runs east-west, is 25.1 miles across Franklin County.
