Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Barry Hawkins 11-9 to clinch victory in the final of a dramatic Shanghai Masters.
O'Sullivan, who was down 6-4 after the morning session, roared back to pip 'The Hawk' in what proved to be a tense finish.
The Rocket closed out victory in ruthlessly efficient fashion from 10-9 up as Hawkins was not allowed to challenge in what proved to be the decisive frame.
O'Sullivan, in what was his first tournament back after the summer break, retained his Shanghai Masters crown and took home a cheque of £200,000.
It is the sixth tournament triumph in 11 months for the 42-year-old, who again proved to be a worthy champion in the prestigious tournament.
MORNING SESSION
O'Sullivan trailed Barry Hawkins 6-4 at the interval with 'The Hawk' knocking in two centuries in the first session.
Hawkins, who beat Ding Junhui 10-9 in the semi-finals, opened up with a brilliant century of 125 in the first frame.
He then took the second as well to double his lead before O'Sullivan got on the board with a break of 85.
The pair then exchanged frames, with O'Sullivan knocking in back-to-back half-century breaks, level the scores at 3-3.
However Hawkins' second century of the match, this time 132, allowed him to take the lead and it was the first of three frames he won of the last four to go in 6-4 ahead.
