Coach Hunt has been with both the Ice Vault and the Hitmen organization since their inception. Serving as the first hockey director and head coach/general manager of the expansion EJHL junior team. After starting the Bandits program and acquiring the Hitmen as part of the Ice Vault brand, he was promoted to vice president of hockey operations and president of the Hitmen in 2006 and charged with overseeing the growth of the program in the youth tier 1 market while insuring the culture of the building remained a player first development driven atmosphere.

Jim has represented the United States in nearly a dozen international events and has served as an assistant coach and assistant director of player personnel to the original National Team Development Program established by USA Hockey in Ann Arbor Michigan. 

In 2000 He accepted the position as an NCAA division 1 head coach at Fairfield University where he led the program to its first ever playoff appearance.

Under his direction, the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association player development program was established in 1993 to provide players within the Atlantic affiliate an opportunity to compete on national and international stages.

From 2009-2012 he served as the first regional ADM manager for USA Hockey’s national player development model launched in cooperation with the NHL.

While cultivating his hockey knowledge and gaining valuable experience, Jim also served as a police detective in his hometown of Fort Lee, NJ. Where he retired after twenty five years of distinguished service.

Hockey Background:
Through the 1990-1992 seasons Toby Harris played at Governor Dummer Academy. During the 90-91 season he finished as the team’s leading scorer and in 91-92 served as the team’s Assistant Captain leading the team to the New England Championships. Toby was voted an ISL all-star, HNIB All-Scholastic candidate and a High School All-American.

In 1992-1993 Toby attended Northwood Prep School as a post-graduate. While there he served as team captain under Coach Tom Flemming and was voted MVP of the Northwood prep tournament.

From 1993-1997 Toby played in over 100 games for the Boston College Eagles and is now a member of the Boston College Varsity Club. During his college hockey career Toby was a member of the Boston College Eagles 1993 Beanpot Championship team.

After graduating from BC in 1997, with a degree in Communications, Toby signed a professional contract with Klostersee EHC, a member of the German Division I South League. Toby finished his first season as the top-leading scorer, was voted team MVP and voted to the Division I South All-Star team. As well as achieving ‘Player of the Week’ honors twice, ‘Player of the Month’ once, Toby was voted to the EISHOCKEY NEWS (Division I South) Season First Team.

In 1998 Toby signed a contract to play for Salzgitter ESC as a member of the German Division I North league.

In December of 1999 Toby signed with the El Paso Buzzards of the Western Professional League. In 47 games Toby accrued 25 goals, 40 assists and was second in team scoring. Toby was honored with the title “Unsung Hero,” voted ‘Player of the Week’ twice and ‘Player of the Month’ once by the league. That same month Toby set a WPHL record of five goals in one game that may never be broken (the WPHL has now merged with the Central Hockey League and now is the CHL).

In 2000 Toby signed with the Tupelo T-Rex of the WPHL and led the team in goal scoring, game winning goals, short-handed goals and shots on net. He was voted ‘Player of the Week’ once by the league, and served as an Assistant Captain. At the trade deadline in 2000, Toby was traded from Tupelo to the Amarillo Rattlers. After finishing the season in Amarillo Toby was first in scoring.

In 2000-2001, with Amarillo, Toby served as the Player/Assistant Coach where he was in charge of recruiting, off-ice training and salary cap structure. Toby set a franchise record with back-to-back hat tricks, and eight goals in three games. Toby was voted ‘Player of the Week’ in back to back weeks as well as ‘Player of the Month.’

In December of 2000, Toby suffered the first of three concussions that would end his career. He continued with the Amarillo Rattlers as their League Representative at the monthly league meetings.

In August of 2002 Toby accepted the job of Rink and Hockey Director of the Rock Ice Predators of the New Jersey Youth League.

In January of 2003 Toby accepted a job with the Mid-Atlantic USA development program and served as Head Coach of the 1989 Mid-Atlantic district team.

In January 2004 Toby accepted the job as the Mid-Atlantic USA 1989 Festival Coach.

From 2004-2006 Harris served as the associate head coach under Jim Hunt. He also ran the Hitmen day to day operations as Assistant General Manager and served as the director of recruiting. 
 
In 2007 Harris took over the helm and led the Hitmen to a 30-7-7 record their best in franchise history. The Hitmen won the 2007-2008 EJHL Southern Division, were the 2008 EJHL regular season co-champions and raised the Dineen Cup as EJHL play-off champions. In the 2007-2008 season Harris was also named Head Coach for the Southern Division EJHL all-stars and EJHL Coach of the Year by his peers. This was closely followed by the prestigious accolade from Hockey Night In Boston 2007-2008 JR A coach of the year.

In July of 2008 Harris was elevated to General Manager by the Jersey Hitmen organization along with his day to day recruiting duties and head coaching job. He then went on to be named head coach of the USA hockey Atlantic District '92 Festival Team that competed in Rochester, NY.

Darius Radziszewski is a New Jersey native, growing up around the Jersey Shore area in Bayville, NJ. He played a majority of his youth hockey for the Toms River Blackhawks before moving on to the Red Bank Generals and New Jersey Jr. Titans.

Darius then pursued a junior hockey career at the age of 16 with the Jr. Titans’ MetJHL team before billeting a year in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to play for the WR Riverkings of the USPHL Midwest division. After a year in Wisconsin Darius returned to New Jersey to play for the Jersey Hitmen under current Premier head coach Dan Henningson. In his second year of his two-year tenure with the Hitmen Darius was named team captain of the Jersey Hitmen Premier before eventually committing to play NCAA ice hockey for the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs of the SUNYAC conference.

During Darius’ junior and college career he remained active in the youth hockey world, serving as a skills and powerskating coach for the Toms River Blackhawks, TR Dynamo HC, and South Jersey Selects HC. In the short time between Darius’ playing career and the start of his tenure with the Hitmen he served in a scouting and player development role for the P.A.L. Jr. Islanders of the USPHL. Darius has also spent years of mentorship under the wing of former NHL powerskating coach and current NHL Network analyst, Robby Glantz, fine-tuning his powerskating and skill-development coaching abilities.

Darius is a Level 4 registered USA Hockey Coach.

Kayla returns to New Jersey after spending three years playing in the NWHL for the Connecticut Whale and Buffalo Beauts. Prior to her time in the NWHL, Kayla spent four years at The Gunnery, a renowned prep school in Washington, Connecticut, and four years with SUNY-Plattsburgh, where she played NCAA Div. III Women's Ice Hockey.

During her time at SUNY-Plattsburgh, Kayla led her team to three NCAA National Championships and amassed a total of 188 points in 117 games, ranking her 4th All-Time in Career Points, 5th All-Time in Career Assists, and 16th All-Time in Career Goals in the NCAA Div. III. She was also named a First-Team All-American in back-to-back seasons, doing so in the 2015/2016 campaign, as well as 2016/2017.

After her time in the NCAA, Kayla took her talents to the National Women's Hockey League to play for the Connecticut Whale and Buffalo Beauts. In her two seasons with Connecticut Kayla was able to help a rebuilding franchise grow and solidify its culture, while also do a fair amount of growing herself. While she managed just 1 goal in her rookie season, she quickly emerged as a leading force in her second season, putting up 4 goals and 4 assists, aiding the team in its efforts to capture the Isobel Cup. For the COVID-shortened 2020/2021 season, Kayla skated with the Buffalo Beauts, participating in the NWHL's Lake Placid bubble, broadcasted on NBC Sports.

While Kayla was with the Connecticut Whale, she also served as an Assistant Coach for St. Anselm College's NCAA Women's Ice Hockey program. During her tenure with St. Anselm, the school was granted Division I status for the 2019/2020 season, giving Kayla coaching experience at both NCAA Division III and NCAA Division I.

Kayla joins the Jersey Hitmen Premier team as a full-time Assistant Coach after a short stint as the team's Volunteer Assistant to finish the 2020/2021 season.

From 2012 through 2016 Coach Reidel coached the Jersey Hitmen 16U and 18U teams. During that four (4) year span the Jersey Hitmen accumulated a 238-80-13 record, highlighted by a  Jersey Hitmen 18U USPHL League Championship during the 2014-2015 season.

Prior to joining the Jersey Hitmen, Coach Reidel coached at all levels of youth hockey from Mites to Bantams in the New Jersey Bandit organization and Wayne Hockey Club. In 2012, as an Assistant to Head Coach Bill Thompson,  the New Jersey Bandits Bantam AA team competed at Nationals and brought home a Bronze Medal. Coach Reidel has also coached teams at the 18U level  for Team New Jersey at America’s Showcase and the Garden State Games.

As a player, Coach Reidel was a member of the Montclair College Hockey Club which captured the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference Cup in their 1985-1986 inaugural season.

Dan Henningson grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, where he played his youth hockey for the South Side Athletic Club.

Dan went on to play junior hockey in the Alberta Junior Hockey League for the Drayton Valley Thunder. Dan played three seasons in Drayton Valley and was the team’s captain his final year. Dan received Most Improved award his rookie year, Best Defenseman the final two years, and Team MVP in his last year.

Dan played NCAA Division I hockey for Quinnipiac University (ECAC). Throughout his collegiate career, Dan consistently ranked among the ECAC Hockey leaders in defensemen points and assists and was awarded Team MVP for two consecutive years.

Dan recently retired from a successful professional playing career. Dan signed with the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL) immediately after university. Dan attended the Chicago Blackhawks development camp the following season and later signed with Pittsburgh affiliate, Wilkes- Barre Scranton (AHL). Dan went on to play for the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) the next year where he was named Captain and Team MVP. Dan signed with the Chicago Express (ECHL) the following season, but was called up and played the majority of the year with Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins (AHL), and Binghamton Senators (AHL).

Dan is now residing in South Orange, NJ with his wife and daughter, and excited to begin his coaching career with the Hitmen.

Coach Thompson is entering his 40th year of coaching ice hockey. The past two seasons he has been the Assistant Head Coach of the 18U team. For the previous four years Coach Thompson was  the bench boss of the Hitmen 16U team. In 2016-2017 he and his Co-Coach Brach Healey were named “Coach of the Year” for the USPHL. Over the years Coach Thompson has been instrumental in many players securing Division 1 college commitments.  Prior to coming to the Hitmen Coach Thompson spent several years with the NJ Bandits program coaching both the 16U and the Bantam teams. His Bantam team in 2012 won the Bronze Medal at the USA Nationals.

Thompson spent the majority of his coaching career at the Tier 1 (AAA) Midget level with the Ramapo Saints and Junior level where he coached at the New Jersey Rockets as a Head Coach, and  New Jersey Devils as an associate Head Coach. He has served as the Don Bosco Prep Associate Head Coach for 5 years, Team New Jersey Assistant Coach for the Chicago Showcase, Head Coach for Team New Jersey in the America's Showcase,  Head Coach for the Garden State Games and has also served as an evaluator for the USA Hockey District Program.

Coach Thompson was also the owner of Garden State Training camp.
 
At the Tier 1 level Thompson has won a number of League , District and Regional Championships over the years with several appearances in the National Championships.
 
When he isn't coaching hockey, Coach Thompson owns and operates his own Textile and Apparel company that has offices in New York and China.

Coach Placier brings 23 years of experience, coaching Youth and High School Hockey  and has been part of the Ice Vault family since the doors opened, having coached for the NJ Bandits and now for the past Three  seasons with the Jersey Hitmen

Coach Placier is USA  Hockey Level 4 Certified. He Started his coaching career with the Garden State Wolves who are now The NJ Bandits, through that he has coached everything from Mites to Midgets, most recently the 2017-2018 16U AA National team which went 1-2 in the top division, won the NJYHL Central division Championship as well as a third place finish in the top tier EJPHL, which he  also coached the EJPHL All-Star game.

Coach Placier’s teams have made 10 NJYHL playoff appearances as well as two trips to the Silver Sticks Finals in Port Huron Michigan .

Coach Placier  has also coached at Paramus Catholic HS from as an assistant Varsity coach and  Head JV Coach. During that time winning The North Red Varsity Championship in 2007 & 2008 with a runner up finish in 2006  as well  8 straight JV league Championships.

Coach Smith grew up playing youth and high school hockey in Holliston, MA.  Mike then went on to play at Bryant University (ACHA DII) where he was a 2-year captain.

Coach Smith has been part of the Ice Vault since 2012.  He has coached 11 years with the Bandits/Hitmen from Mites through Midgets and currently holds a Level 4 USA Hockey Certification.

Anthony Yelovich was born in Clifton, NJ and grew up playing youth hockey for various travel teams in North Jersey. Playing at Clifton High School he led the state in scoring in 2006 with 99pts and was two-time North Jersey Player of the Year.  Shortly after Yelovich left to play for Gunnery Prep and then the New England Jr. Falcons of the USPHL.

Yelovich received a D-1 scholarship to Sacred Heart University, where he played all four years, made it to the Atlantic Hockey finals in 2008 and double majored in Economics and Finance. Following his college career, Anthony pursued professional hockey ambitions overseas where he played a season for Medvescak Zagreb in the Austrian EBEL.

As a coach Yelovich is currently giving back his knowledge to New Jersey hockey youth by coaching at the 18U level. A former Glen Rock High School coach with previous stops at the NJ Devils Youth and Nutley HS. His initial year with Glen Rock High School he led the Panthers for the first time in school history to the Bergen County Final and a #1 ranking for all NJ public schools. The 2017 High School season ended with the Panthers winning a Public B State Championship. The Star Ledger as well as New Jersey Hockey Advantage named him 2017 Coach of the Year.

Coach Inglis grew up playing youth hockey in New Jersey for the NJ Rockets. After playing juniors for the NJ Rockets, Jersey Wildcats, and Boston Jr. Shamrocks Cody went to Montclair State University. At Montclair State University ACHA DII Cody was a 3-year captain, helping lead the team to two national championship appearances.

Upon graduating from Montclair State in 2014, Cody began coaching for the Montclair Blues at the Squirt, Peewee, and Midget levels. In 2017, Coach Inglis was named the Assistant Coaching Director overseeing skill development. From 2017-2019, he was an assistant coach for Montclair State's ACHA DII team.

Tony is a native of Detroit, Michigan, and moved to New Jersey in 2014 to become Palisades Federal Credit Union CEO. Tony received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance while attending and playing Division 1 hockey at Western Michigan University and later received his Master’s in Finance.

Tony has been coaching youth (boys & girls) and tier-1 teams for 25 plus years and has coached for the Hitmen and Bandits organization for the last five years. Tony holds a Level 5 Coaching Education Program with USA Hockey. He is also an accomplished official where he has officiated Division 1 college hockey for 20 plus years for the Big Ten and CCHA.  

Tony’s coaching philosophy is one of skill development, teamwork, discipline, and fun.  He is committed to excellence as a coach and strives to get the best out of every player.

Coach Lovell has been part of the Ice Vault since 2006. He has coached 11 years with the Bandits from mites though midgets. In 2015-2016, as assistant coach of Bandits Bantam AA they won the regional Silver Stick and advanced to International Finals. As head coach of the Bandits (2017-2019) both his 16A & 16AA teams reached the NJYHL playoffs. Currently, this will be his third year coaching with the Hitmen. Steve returns for the 2021-2022 season as the head coach of the 12U Minor team. He holds a USA Hockey level 4 certification and is currently an assistant coach at Ramapo College.

Frey served 5 seasons as the West Milford High School Varsity Head Coach from 2011-2016. In 2014 West Milford won the Passaic County Tournament. Frey received Passaic County, Big North Conference, and West Milford High School coach of the year honors. 

Dan has coached 10 seasons at the Bandits, with teams from mites through midget 16AA. Dan has USA Hockey level 4 certification.  This is Dan’s fourth season with the Hitmen, serving as assistant coach at the 12u level for 2 seasons and the Head coach at the 2011 birth year this past season. Dan returns as the 2011 head coach for the 2021-22 season.
