Boyd Batts Blazers Host Lakeland At Jasper Friday The Vincennes University Trailhlazers, defending national champions of Junior College Basketball, will play host to Lakeland Community College of Ohio Friday night in a regular season game at the Jasper High School gym. The game is being played at Jasper in association with the Vincennes University Jasper Center and the J-Club of Jasper High school.

The Trailblazers of Coach Allen Bradfield have won the national title three times and for the last eight years have been the top junior college cage team in the nation. TTiey are 14-2 for the year and are presently ranked number two in the nation according to the United Press International ratings. A year ago the Blazers compiled a 33-0 record en route to the title. Vincennes will play host to Southwestern Michigan tonight at Beless Gym at Vincennes. The game will be televised live on WVUT-TV.

The loss was the 12th of the season against two wins for the Millers. For Winslow it was win No. 12 in 13 outings. The Eskimos have lost only to Vincennes Rivet (67-64).
