Besides the capital San Jose all/most other cities/towns look like townships in U.S.A. (,as of up to now at least.)
It's not even too safe or low cost enough, yet some fools love it there or at least until after some months,
probably bcoz they used to live in worse places. enjoy.

prices absoultly not right
In 5 years never seen orange for less thab 5$ for one kilo could reach 10$ sometimes
Food are extremly expensive here
Milk , cheese , vegetablea and fruits ,
unless you eat like local " rice and beans for breakfast lunch and dinner" it will cost you 3 times from what will costs in the US

Costa Ricais nothing more than an expensive country full of corruption.Several friends from Europe retired in Costa Rica. They were telling me I need to retire in Costa Rica too but I never listened to them. I visited Costa Rica twice but I didn't see anything impressive about the country.Anyone planning on moving to Costa Rica shouldn't do it.

The post on April 30

Costa Rica government allowed many in from Nicaragua, Honduras, and El Salvador. The idiot is obviously not from Costa Rica or they would know all central American countries are in close proximity plus Nicaragua is infected with MS13 always have been. I lived in Costa Rica as a foreigner until August 2020 in a nice house I personally owned.Oh the Costa Rica government insists all currencies be converted into colon so they can manipulate ie skim to their advantage.DONT EVEN TELL ME COSTA RICA ISN'T FLOODED WITH MS13 the door was wide open for anyone to walk through minus correct vetting. Two foreigners were hacked to death by machetes in their house across the street from me. Shut up you piece of garbage.

Please ignore what Anonymous posted on March 01, 2019. They are probably the most arrogant person ever.

Firstly, just because someone is an immigrant to another country, that does not mean they are a gang member. I can't believe this person just claimed that immigrants from Nicaragua are members of gang. I'm honestly ever surprised they're knowledgable enough to know that Nicaragua borders Costa Rica.

And second, the currency of Costa Rica is the Costa Rican colón, not the peso. How arrogant and uninformed do you have to be to get that wrong?

People like them make me sick and lose faith in humanity. Stay in the US, no other country should have you. They're way too good for you.
