PROCLAMATION NO. 663

ANNEXING THE MUNICIPALITY OF JARO TO THE TERRITORIAL
JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF ILOILO

By virtue of the powers vested in me by section one of Commonwealth Act No. 604, entitled “An Act to amend certain sections of the Charter of the City of Iloilo,” I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the municipality of Jaro, Province of Iloilo, abolished and its territory annexed to the City of Iloilo, effective on January 16, 1941.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done at the City of Manila this seventh day of January in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-one and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the sixth.
