You can’t claim to be a true-blue Kim Soo Hyun fan if you haven’t seen My Love from the Star, the hit K-drama in which he starred alongside Jun Ji Hyun. And if you already have, then you’re certainly no stranger to Kim Chang Wan, the actor who played his loyal best friend in the beloved series.

A quick refresher: Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun), an alien who landed on earth 400 years ago, found his first true friend in the form of lawyer Jang Young Mok (Kim Chang Wan), who has lived long enough to be both his best friend and father figure.

Remember that time he got jealous when Do Min Joon finally bought a phone just because Cheon Song-yi (Jun Ji Hyun) told him so? (He's been bugging him for years but he never did.)

Or that time Do Min Joon got drunk and his powers accidentally caused a blackout across Seoul? LOL!

But really, the most unforgettable of all was when Do Min Joon had to say goodbye to his longtime friend as he was preparing to go back to his own planet. It broke our hearts knowing the kind of friendship they’ve shared during all those years they spent together.

Well, good news to all My Love from the Star fans! It looks like the two are bound to have a reunion soon. In the second episode of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, a.k.a. Kim Soo Hyun’s latest drama, it shows the actor looking up OK Psychiatric Hospital online. During which, he chanced upon an article that features a photo of his former co-star. This time around, Kim Chang Wan will play the role of O Ji Wang, the mental ward’s director and Korea’ number one PTSD expert.

ICYMI, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay positions itself as a “healing romance,” and Director O Ji Wang is a firm believer that “one must face one’s trauma to overcome it.” It looks like he’ll once again play a life-changing role for Kim Soo Hyun’s character. We’ll just have to wait and see!
