      Brian K A very Canadian movie -- it's slow, small in scope, and nothing much happens. However, this picture has a good heart at it center, the characters and situations are (mostly) authentic, and the acting is good*. *Ms. Weaver sometimes over-acts, and Mr. Rickman is somewhat flat at times, but this is mostly attributable to the screenplay. There are three irresistible reasons to watch this movie: first - the charm of Alan Rickman, second - outstanding performance by Sigourney Weaver, and the third - the jaw-droppingly beautiful Carrie-Anne Moss. So that makes for an endless enjoyment during the viewing as at least one of them is present on the screen.
