Audience Member Nice. Characters that uses their brains 👏🏻 finally Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Brian D 67%. 2/3/24. Didn't really enjoy it. The zombies were too fast and intense so it never seemed remotely realistic. They also never really even kill the zombies, they just toos them around. Felt very repetitive. A lot of just them running through train cars. The main character sucks. He's terrible to his daughter until he has to protect her. Didn't enjoy it. 1.5/5 on rewatch scale Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/02/24 Full Review John W Superb. Thrilling, exciting, entertaining, enthralling, and amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review Will W A harrowing tale with lots of action and in my opinion one of the best zombie movies ever made. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review C Masterpiece. There's nothing else to describe it. The characters are all amazing, the sound track is perfect, the ending made me cry. It's great. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/28/24 Full Review melody this movie was amazing! the pacing was phenomenal, the actors brought the story to life, the storyline was compelling, the setting was interesting and new, and the zombies weren't just generic, but genuinely posed a significant threat. the ending was emotional and made me cry, and the antagonists (aside from the zombies) did a fantastic job at making me hate them. this was really one of the best k-dramas, and zombie movies, i've ever watched. it wasn't cliche, but, like most movies, there were some character stereotypes, although they made sense and enhanced the experience. on an end note, it'll have you gripping the edge of your seat until the very end. watch it if you haven't already, you'll enjoy it. Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com It could not be done better. They pulled no punches with this movie. Rated: A+ Jul 16, 2020 Full Review Alexandra Heller-Nicholas The Blue Lenses Train to Busan is horror as it should be: intelligent, fun, and celebrating life with every mad twist and new take on death that it can find. Aug 25, 2018 Full Review Matthew Lickona San Diego Reader Director Yeon Sang-ho makes smart use of the cramped quarters, and while it's true that his zombies' abilities tend to vary according to the requirements of the moment, it's easy to overlook amid the onslaught of action and emotion. Rated: 3/5 Jan 6, 2017 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand This is viral horror with an organic purity and a cinematic distinction to it, and in its own bloody, diseased way, it's a thing of beauty. Sep 8, 2023 Full Review Jordan Brooks Vague Visages Yeon Sang-ho’s Train to Busan continues this legacy of the genre from which it draws its premise, while providing plenty of unspoiled flesh for a ravenous audience to sink their teeth into. Aug 1, 2023 Full Review Jae-Ha Kim Jae-Ha Kim (Substack) "Train to Busan" does a great job at depicting how people deal with death during unthinkable times. When your loved one is infected and your only option is to perish with them or kill them so that you (and others) can survive, what would you do?
