William Thomas Empire Magazine However you view it, this three-part series is thought-provoking and very well written, with its final episode, The Entire History Of You, a heart-breaking triumph. Rated: 4/5 Nov 1, 2017 Full Review Emily Nussbaum New Yorker For all the show's inventive storytelling, its true provocation is its righteous outrage, which shares something with Mike White's whistle-blower series Enlightened, although it's overlaid with a dark filter. Jan 7, 2015 Full Review Alan Sepinwall HitFix What makes the series so powerful is that it doesn't just present another collection of stories where technology turns on us, but where we use technology to turn on -- or tune out -- each other. Rated: A Dec 10, 2014 Full Review Kathryn Reklis The Christian Century For all its metaphysical speculating, Black Mirror excels in suggesting that technology does not make us unrecognizable monsters; it simply amplifies the monstrous impulses already in us. Aug 21, 2018 Full Review Miriam Lagoa El Pais (Spain) Black Mirror is provocative, irreverent, daring ... and very British. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 18, 2018 Full Review David Trueba El Pais (Spain) Stimulating, but more in its promise than in the achievement, the series gives to discuss, blessed glory in days of unanimity. Andrija I Perfect show. One of the best I watched. The Twilight Zone fore this time and age. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/22/23 Full Review Ramon G I have only been able to see the first chapter, I found it absolutely unpleasant. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/20/23 Full Review Natanel This is probably the best TV show in the history of TV. Many words have described Black Mirror, and some episodes actually became real part of our lives (I won't spoiler), Though "Black Mirror" is fascinating and a mind-blower, sometimes it's a replicate of these days reality, and some other times it's an horrifying prediction of the future (though not everything in the show is the reality yet, I believe that one day, the entire show will become a prediction of our future). Charlie Brooker, to me you are a God. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/28/23 Full Review Gnome C The 1st episode is skip worthy. The other two were great. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review Nick S Interesting and engaging start to a very, very good show. I remember watching the episode 1 years and years ago and I wasn't immediately drawn to it, but towards the end it drew me in. The other two episodes were dealing with super-interesting concepts. Now, rewatching them after what must be 6-7 years (or more), I feel like I have a more profound understanding of the issues and more empathy to the events shown. It still hits pretty hard and has a lot of value. Production is great too and doesn't show (many) signs of age. Highly Recommended. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/22/23 Full Review Matthew C All 3 episodes are really good, but The Entire History of You is the best.
