What The Papers Say Awards, December 2007
David Leigh and Rob Evans have won a special commendation at the 2007 UK Press Awards for their teamwork, after writing a series of groundbreaking exposures of the corruption allegations against BAE.

ACE International Circulation Awards, December 2007
The Guardian has been named as the best UK newspaper distributed internationally at the ACE International Circulation Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

Campaign Media Awards, November 2007
Guardian News & Media's digital display sales team have been named Digital Sales Team of the Year in Campaign's media awards list. The judges particularly praised their use of audio and video solutions and highlighted specific campaigns including the Audi Future of Food and the award-winning Secondfest.

Record of the Day Awards, November 2007
The Guardian was named national newspaper with best music coverage for the second year running. Media correspondent Owen Gibson won the music business writer of the year award and Alexis Petridis, the Guardian's pop critic, won reviews writer for the third year running. Guardian Music Weekly was named best podcast at the presentation of musical journalism and public relations awards in London last night. Caspar Llewellyn Smith of Observer Music Monthly took the best editor award.

Interactive Media Awards, November 2007
The Secondfest film and music festival created by the Guardian has won a second media industry award at the annual Interactive Media Awards. The awards were established to recognise and celebrate the most effective examples of marketing and advertising using the internet, mobile and interactive TV.

National Online Recruitment Awards (NORA), November 2007
Guardian Jobs has been named Best Online Recruitment Section by a consumer Publication at the National Online Recruitment Awards
British Society of Magazine Editors Awards (BSME), November 2007
Merope Mills won the Fiona MacPherson New Editor Award for Guardian Weekend and Nicola Jeal was named Newspaper Magazines Editor of the Year for Observer Woman.

British Environment and Media Awards, November 2007
The Guardian has been named Newspaper of the Year at the British Environment and Media Awards.

Cartoon Arts Trust Awards, November 2 2007
Posy Simmonds has won the Pont Award at the Cartoon Arts Trust Awards, for depicting the British character and Steve Bell received the Strip Cartoon Award.

Stonewall Awards, November 2007
The Guardian has been named Publication of the Year at the Stonewall Awards. The awards recognise "those who've done good things for gay people in the last twelve months." The judges said the paper had consistently "provided a wealth of positive coverage of lesbian and gay issues", and praised it as "one of Fleet Street's strongest advocates for equality"

Media Week Awards, October 2007
Guardian News & Media's Ad Planning department have won the gold and silver awards for Best Research Initiative at the prestigious Media Week Awards. The gold award was for Total Audience UK, a single source survey that measures consumption of all UK national press titles and their websites. The silver award was for Grad Facts, research which delivers insight into the attitudes and aspirations of graduates in the UK.

"For Diversity. Against Discrimination", Journalist Awards, October 2007
Mary O'Hara has received the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All special prize in the 2007 "For Diversity. Against Discrimination" Journalist awards. Mary won this award for her article 'Stand up and be counted'. The awards aim to reward journalists who have either written articles that deal with multiple discrimination, discrimination on the grounds of gender, or that mention the European Year

Paul Foot Awards, October 2007
David Leigh and Rob Evans have been awarded the Paul Foot Award for campaign journalism for their investigation into the British arms trade. The award was given for their groundbreaking series of exposes of corruption allegations against BAE.

AOP Awards, October 2007
Guardian News & Media has been awarded three out of the sixteen prizes at the annual Association of Online Publishers event. The prizes were for Best Podcast for the weekly Islamophonic programme and the Innovation prize for our Film and Music Festival in the Second Life virtual world. The final award was the Digital Creativity Prize for the Amis on Blair feature, a project combining video, photography, music and Amis' writing to describe Tony Blair's last days in power.

GuardianFilms has received an Emmy Award in the Best International Current Affairs Film category for Baghdad: A Doctor's Story

One World Media Awards, June 2007
Two Guardian journalists were honoured at the One World Media Awards. Joanna Moorhead, along with freelance photographer Anna Kari, received the Millennium Development Goals award for their feature comparing maternity care in Africa and Europe. Our China correspondent Jonathan Watts picked up the Press Award for his Weekend magazine feature, 'The Big Steal', a story of violent protest by millions of China's peasant families against land grabs by local authorities and developers.

Guild of Food Writers Awards, June 2007
Felicity Lawrence won two prizes at the Guild of Food Writers Awards. She was named Food Journalist of the Year and won the Derek Cooper award for campaigning and investigative food writing for her investigations into breakfast cereals and the dangers of Soya.

The Webby Awards, April 2007
Guardian Unlimited has been named Best Online Newspaper for the third year in succession at the 2007 Webby Awards.

Orwell Prize for Political Writing, April 2007
Peter Beaumont received the Foreign Correspondent Award.

Production Journal Newspaper Awards, April 2007
The Guardian won five out of the nine categories at this years Production Journal Awards including; Newspaper of the Year (Weekly), Weekend Newspaper of the Year, Environmental Newspaper Company of the Year (GNM), Most Outstanding Use of Colour (The Guardian TPP) and Newspaper Printer of the Year GPC.

Marketing Communications Consultants Association (MCCA) Awards, April 2007
The Guardian's Print Distribution and Circulation team, together with retail agency 141 Worldwide received the award for Best Business to Business Campaign.

Drum's Media Sales Team Awards, April 2007
GNL's Northern Ad department has received four awards including, Innovative Team of the Year, Best for Market Research, Customer Service Award and National Newspaper Classified Team of the Year.

GNM has been named Media Owner of the Year by Revolution Magazine

Malofiej, February 2007
The Guardian's graphics team has won two international awards from the Malofiej competition in Pamplona, Spain. The Guardian was the only British Newspaper to win at the event. The Gold award was for a graphic on the International Space Station, showing it's size compared with the Sun and the Bronze award was for a graphics spread on the world's distribution of military forces.

Society of News Design's annual awards, February 2007
The Guardian has won four prestigious silver awards, three were for our information graphics, including the anniversary of 9/11 and our local elections results map. One was for our breaking news coverage of last year's Middle East crisis. Judges also awarded special recognition for the design of g2 and awards of design excellence for over 30 other layouts across g2, photography, sport and special reports. The guardian is the only British newspaper to be rewarded for its graphics.

EU Journalist Awards, February 2007
"No Fear, No Frills" by Mary O'Hara has been named best national article in the "For Diversity. Against Discrimination" category at the EU Journalist Awards.
